I gave up my flat for a camper van

My lease is cancelled. At the end of October I move back in with my parents, so I can save up for the van in six months.

It’s official. At the end of October I’m moving back in with my parents. Not because I have to, but because it lets me save up in six months for the van I’ve been dreaming of for so long.

The plan is simple. Every euro I no longer spend on rent goes into savings. At the end of March 2027 I’ll buy a Mercedes Sprinter L3H2. From April to June I’ll convert it into a film studio on wheels, together with my dad. In July I leave for six months through Europe.

On the map below you’ll soon see roughly where I am. Until the summer the pin stays in Friesland; from July it moves along.
